Brooklyn College Resources
Need Help With Writing?
The Learning Center
Students of all writing levels, including highly developed, experienced writers, walk in to the Learning Center to receive assistance from professional peer tutors. Learning Center tutors will help you to analyze the assignment, formulate a research and writing timeline, strengthen drafts, respond effectively to a professor's revision requests, and submit a strong final paper.
Subject Librarians at the Brooklyn College Library
Students are encouraged to ask specialized librarians for help in finding appropriate source material for their research assignments.
Feel Overwhelmed?
Personal Counseling can help you to recognize what is upsetting you, clarify your goals, focus on your studies, and find ways of dealing with difficult situations. These can range from conflict with parents, death of a family member or friend, break-up of a relationship, or feelings of stress, depression, and anxiety. Brief individual or group counseling is confidential and available to undergraduate and graduate students.
