Elizabeth Chua joined Brooklyn College in January 2011. After receiving her Ph.D. in 2008 from Harvard Univeristy, she went on to do a postdoctoral research fellowship at the University of California, Davis from 2008-2010.
Education:
Post-doctoral Fellow, University of California, Davis - 2010 (Neuroscience)
Ph.D., Harvard University - 2008 (Psychology (Cognition, Brain and Behavior))
B.S., Trinity College - 2001 (Neuroscience)
Areas of Expertise:
Elizabeth Chua has broad interests in the cognitive and neural bases of human memory. Her research thus far has focused on associative memory and metamemory (knowledge of one's memory). The methods she has used to answer questions on these topics include functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS), transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), and eye-tracking techniques.
