Jun Hu joined the Brooklyn College Mathematics Department in 1999. Before that, Hu was an assistant professor at Rutgers-Newark (1995-98) and an NSF postdoctoral fellow at the University of Maryland at College Park (Fall 1998). In the academic year 2001-02, Hu was back on the NSF postdoctoral fellowship (visiting SUNY at Stony Brook) while taking an incentive scholar fellowship leave from CUNY. In 2003, Hu joined the doctoral faculty in the Ph.D. Program in Mathematics at the CUNY Graduate Center.
