Education:
Ph.D., City University - 1982 (Computer Science)
M.S., City College - 1975 (Computer Science)
B.A., Yeshiva University - 1973 (Mathematics)
Areas of Expertise:
Researching the development of a Web-enabled, intelligent user interface to an XML database using reinforcement learning techniques and semantic Web technologies to promote a model of scientific data sharing. Co-principal investigator: NSF BPC grant, for a multipronged approach to increase the number of students receiving postsecondary degrees in the computing disciplines; and NSF CPATH grant, seeking to extend the Georgia Tech Threads concept to enhance the curriculum of the CIS Department.
