Gregory Boutis is an experimental physicist with expertise in magnetic resonance. Prior to joining CUNY, he held a position at Northrop Grumman, where he worked on RADAR hardware and software development. Over the past 10 years or so, he and his group have focused largely on experimental studies of biological polymers. On occasion they have also done work on many-body quantum spin systems (e.g., studies of spin diffusion in a rigid lattice, spin counting). The group has collaborated in the past with laboratories at Montefiore Medical Center, MIT, NYU Langone Medical Center, Boston University, Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology and within CUNY. The Boutis group may provide consulting expertise in all aspects of magnetic resonance(diffusion, spectroscopy, pulse sequence development)-please email us if you have interests.
