An introduction to mathematical cryptography. Various cryptographic systems. Basic cryptanalytic attacks. Modern cryptographic systems; authentication; factorization attacks. This course is the same as Computer and Information Science 3240 [18.5].
Prequisite: : Mathematics 2101 [10.1].
