Parenthood, prenatal care; development and health of the child from birth to adolescence; school environment; physical handicaps. (Not open to students who have completed Health Science 3170 [36].)
Prerequisite: twelve credits in the department, including Health and Nutrition Sciences 1100 [6.1]. A course in developmental psychology or child development is recommended.
