CHEM 1201 General Chemistry I Laboratory
3 hours laboratory; 1.5 credits
Introduction to the chemical laboratory. Experiments involving quantitative measurements of solids, liquids, and solutions. Demonstrations of physical properties, stoichiometry, and elementary spectroscopy and other analytical techniques. (Not open to students who are enrolled in or have completed Chemistry 1100).
Pre/Corequisite: Chemistry 1200 or Chemistry 2060
